Memorial Blood Centers’ leadership in the industry includes clinical research that advances the scientific study of infectious diseases, the development of life-saving medicine, and helps to ensure a safe and stable national blood supply. We actively recruit participants for studies that support our mission to save lives by providing blood and biomedical solutions.
By volunteering to participate in a clinical trial, you contribute to making a life-saving difference. Without you, future advancements in medicine wouldn’t be possible.
Requirements for participants vary for each study. Please click on one of the active studies listed below to find out if you qualify.
Memorial Blood Centers is seeking blood donors to participate in research studies for improving care for patients. During clinical trials, participants will be asked to donate blood samples or products, for example, whole blood, plasma, or platelets. Blood donors deferred from donating blood for non-medical reasons (such as travel to the United Kingdom or a malarial region) may still be eligible to take part in these studies. Participation in any study is voluntary. Participants will be compensated for their time.
If you, your family, or friends would like to donate blood for research, please contact a Research Coordinator.
Our dedication to quality ensures Standard Operating Procedures and Institutional Review Board (IRB) guidelines are strictly implemented and followed. Current Good Clinical Practice (GCP) standards are followed throughout each clinical trial.
